A demanding outing for acclimatized travelers looking for something really different. We climb to the Brothers Volcanoes area — two twin volcanic cones in the open puna — crossing high plains inhabited by vicuñas and guanacos. Moderate altitude walk with panoramic views of the Andes and the Lascar and Aguas Calientes volcanoes. Due to altitude, this tour requires good fitness and at least 2-3 days of prior acclimatization in San Pedro.
