Baltinache Lagoons & Vallecito

An alternative to the classic circuit, in the area known as the Hidden Lagoons of Baltinache. We visit small turquoise lagoons surrounded by salt crusts — some suitable for floating — in a more intimate setting than the southern salt flat lagoons. We close at Vallecito, crossing lightly visited lunar landscapes, to watch the sunset over the Licancabur away from the mass groups.
