Rainbow Valley & Petroglyphs

This is, by far, one of our favorite tours. Visiting the Cordillera de Domeyko and discovering the region's oldest geological formations is like stepping into another world. Although the colors of the earth seem to steal the show, there aren't enough words to describe the atmosphere of this place. Set at an ideal altitude — higher than San Pedro, but without reaching the extremes of the Andes — this valley has historically been an ideal refuge for human, animal, and plant life. The drive itself is already a breathtaking spectacle. Being a destination with far fewer visitors than other circuits, it guarantees a peaceful experience: few people and plenty of space to connect. It's a half-day expedition with so much to offer that, if you wish, it can become an unforgettable full day. A true journey back in time!
